Supply of a Rear-Loading Compactor Refuse Collection Truck

Summary

The procurement is for one new refuse collection truck, purchased outright, with rear loading and compaction. The supply comprises the chassis, refuse-collection and compaction body, container lift, registration, inspection, delivery, commissioning, institutional branding and after-sales service. The vehicle must be delivered ready for use at the premises of the Mancomunidad de Municipios del Bierzo Alto. Delivery is due within 10 months of contract signature and no later than 15 November 2027. The estimated value is €228,150 excluding VAT (€276,061.50 including VAT). The bid must meet detailed minimum technical specifications, including a body capacity of at least 14 m³, a technically permissible maximum mass of at least 18,000 kg, a diesel engine with at least 320 hp, and a compaction ratio of 6:1. Requirements also include a new vehicle meeting Euro VI E emissions standards, a container lift, safety and driver-assistance systems, and the specified certificates. The supplier must train the authority's personnel, provide at least a two-year warranty and after-sales support, and make spare parts available for at least 10 years. Evaluation awards up to 50 points for price, up to 15 for an extended warranty, and up to 35 under the distance criterion. Bids must be submitted electronically in Spanish; the technical bid must clearly explain and evidence compliance with every minimum requirement. To qualify, bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and previous experience supplying industrial vehicles.
