Reconstruction and infrastructure works for the staircase linking Veredilla and Alamillo streets
Summary
The contract covers the complete reconstruction of the staircase and related infrastructure connecting Veredilla and Alamillo streets in Alcalá de los Gazules, bringing the route into compliance with accessibility requirements. The staircase will be extended in a U-shaped layout with landings at changes of direction. Retaining walls faced with local limestone will address the level changes, and a section of Veredilla Street and the water-supply and public-lighting networks will also be improved. The staircase design includes a concrete base, artificial-stone paving, limestone facing and a steel railing. The estimated contract value is EUR 42,975.20 excluding VAT, with a total budget of EUR 52,000 including 21% VAT. The works must be completed within six months, followed by a one-year warranty period; bids must be submitted electronically. Price is worth up to 80 points. Additional paving improvements are also assessed: a full 37.75 m² improvement earns 10 points, while the quantity offered for the second improvement, up to 45.50 m², earns up to 10 points proportionally. To participate, bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and submit the required declarations and price offer. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee of 5% and comply with safety, environmental and employment-law obligations during the works.
