Transport, storage and safekeeping of seized vehicles in Asturias

Summary

The contract covers the removal, transport, storage and safekeeping of seized vehicles in Asturias, Spain, from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2027. It is divided into two lots: the service area of enforcement collection unit 33/01 in Oviedo and that of unit 33/04 in Gijón. The contractor must arrange vehicle removal using suitable towing or transport vehicles, provide secure and suitable storage, and safeguard the vehicles, keys and documents. The contractor must also show vehicles to interested parties, release them to buyers or authorised persons, and, where required, arrange deregistration and destruction of vehicles declared abandoned. Vehicle removal requests must be handled within 2 working days; requests to view vehicles must also be answered within 2 working days. Vehicles currently held by the previous contractor must be transferred to the new storage facility within the first 15 days of the contract. The initial term is one year, with extensions permitted up to a total maximum duration of three years. The base price for each lot is EUR 7,967 excluding VAT, with a further allowance of up to EUR 2,000 per lot for reimbursable public fees. The total estimated contract expenditure, including VAT and those fees, is EUR 23,280.14. Price is the only award criterion. Bidders must submit a separate electronic bid for each lot and must not exceed the maximum unit prices. Separate evidence of economic, financial, technical or professional capacity is waived, but registration and the required bidder declarations are still necessary.
