Supply of laundry and hygiene products and washing-line chemicals

Summary

The tender covers the 2027 supply of laundry detergents, washing-line chemicals, and hygiene and sanitary-care products to the Romareda care home for older people in Zaragoza. Bids may be submitted for two lots. Lot 1 includes liquid laundry and washing-line products, such as alkaline and wetting detergents, a degreaser, a neutralising fabric softener, chlorine- and oxygen-based bleaching agents, rinse aid and descaler. Lot 2 covers disposable waterproof adult bibs, transparent plastic examination gloves and disposable, recyclable soapy sponges containing aloe vera extract. Quantities include, among others, 4,800 kg of alkaline detergent and 2,600 kg of machine detergent in Lot 1; and 60,000 bibs, 400 packs of gloves (100 per pack) and 380,000 soapy sponges in Lot 2. The contract runs from 1 January 2027, or from signature if later, through 31 December 2027, with a possible extension of up to 12 months. The standard delivery period is under 72 hours, and delivery is to the Romareda care home in Zaragoza. The budget excluding VAT is EUR 23,580 for Lot 1 and EUR 36,760 for Lot 2, totalling EUR 60,340; the total including VAT is EUR 73,011.40. In addition to price, evaluation covers response time for urgent deliveries, reductions to the standard delivery period, temporary storage and service outside normal working hours and on public holidays. Price is an award criterion worth up to 60 of 100 points. Bidders must meet the turnover and previous-supply experience requirements. For Lot 1, automatic dosing systems must be installed and maintained throughout the contract for all six washing machines and the kitchen washing line. Lot 2 bids must include technical data sheets and samples of the bib and soapy sponge. Bids must include signed unit prices for every product in each lot bid for and a declaration of commitments relating to the automatically evaluated award criteria. During contract performance, the contractor must promote product recycling and reusable packaging and avoid single-use plastics, except biodegradable plastic or plastic containing at least 50% recycled material.
