Repair of Teresa Mas Square and the La Florida pavement

Summary

The contract covers the repair and improvement of Teresa Mas Square in the La Florida district of Alicante, together with partial renewal of the southern pavement of Asturias Street. The works include repairs to paving, tree pits, low walls, ramps, protective features and street furniture. On the pavement, paving and kerbs will be partly renewed, along with irrigation, landscaping, signage and drainage elements. The aim is to restore the public space’s safety, accessibility, usability and condition. The works must be completed within three months from signature of the works commencement record. The tender budget is €99,169.46 excluding VAT and €119,995.05 including 21% VAT. Bids may be below the stated budget, and price is the sole award criterion. The contract is not divided into lots. Bidders must meet the financial and technical capacity requirements and be entered in the required register, or prove that they applied for registration before the submission deadline. Bids must be submitted electronically in a single envelope. The works carry a one-year warranty period. During performance, the contractor must comply with the applicable collective-agreement wage conditions and, if additional staff are needed, hire unemployed people and document compliance.
