Tender detail
Supply and installation of equipment to migrate the metric-gauge railway voice network to the corporate voice network
Summary
The contract covers the migration of Adif’s metric-gauge railway voice network from the ageing Avaya platform to its existing Unify corporate voice network. The contractor will supply the hardware, software and licences; upgrade the OSV cluster in Madrid; install branch equipment at El Berrón and Santander and analogue adapters at seven locations. The work also includes replacing phones and intercoms at the listed stations, implementing the existing operational railway telephony functions on the new network, replacing switches with PoE-capable units where required, and configuring, testing and migrating services. The contractor will support the transfer of call recordings, provide five days of administrator-level training and plan the work to minimise service outages, with a rollback option if necessary. The contract runs for 12 months. The estimated value is €360,823.27 excluding VAT (€436,596.16 including 21% VAT); price is the sole award criterion. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover, relevant experience and quality management, and provide evidence of the manufacturer’s Master-level or equivalent specialisation in OpenScape OSV unless they are the manufacturer. Insurance, social and information-security obligations also apply.
