Electric off-road motorcycles to improve reconnaissance company mobility
Summary
The tender is for six electric mini-trail motorcycles and accessories to improve the mobility of patrols belonging to BRIPAC’s advanced reconnaissance company. Each motorcycle must have maximum power of 7.5 kW, a top speed of up to 80 km/h, a removable 2.4 kWh battery, a range of at least 60 km, a 2.5–3-hour charging time and a weight below 65 kg; one standard charger is required per motorcycle. The vehicles must be adapted for manual-opening parachute deployment as a load attached to a parachutist, with disassembly and reassembly for this purpose taking less than 14 minutes. Required adaptations include reinforced wheel spokes of at least 4 mm, mousse tyre systems, reverse gear on the right-hand control, military-specification control software, a powered mount for a tactical navigation device and lights that can be switched off for night driving. The supply also includes one additional removable 2.4 kWh battery and one 1,500 W fast charger. The estimated total is EUR 38,850 excluding VAT and EUR 47,008.50 including VAT. The contract is not divided into lots, and price is the sole award criterion. Deliveries are monthly from 1 August to 30 November 2026, to Base Príncipe. Tenderers must provide a product sample; the successful contractor must ensure spare-parts availability and repair capability for at least three years, provide NATO cataloguing and a three-year warranty, and deliver a technical familiarisation course and the 1,000 km service free of charge. Packaging must be removed and properly managed within 48 hours of receipt. Tenderers should consult the procurement documents for the detailed technical specification and delivery arrangements.
