Replacement of the upper-floor slab, lighting circuit and metal windows at La Corujera School

Summary

The tender covers replacement of the upper-floor slab in the Violeta building at La Corujera school (CEIP La Corujera) in Santa Úrsula, Tenerife. The works address deterioration in the existing reinforced-concrete slab and also replace the lighting circuit running inside the ceiling and the metal window frames. The planned work includes constructing a new reinforced-concrete slab, restoring the roof and waterproofing, installing windows and glazing, electrical work, finishes and construction-waste management. As the work takes place at a school, the schedule must be coordinated with the school and contracting authority, and pupils and other unauthorised people must be protected. The works must be completed within 12 weeks. The estimated budget is EUR 146,974.89 including 7% Canary Islands indirect tax (net amount EUR 137,359.71). Bids must be submitted electronically; only one bid is allowed and alternatives are not permitted. Price carries up to 70 points and an extended warranty up to 30 points. The minimum warranty is one year; points are available for up to four additional years, for a total warranty of up to five years. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the bid price excluding tax. To participate, the company must be registered in the applicable bidders’ register by the submission deadline, or provide evidence of a timely registration application. Financial and technical capacity, evidence of previous works and a team including at least a site manager, a workplace health and safety officer and a foreman are required.
