Renovation of the wooden footbridge over the Belelle River in Neda
Summary
The contract covers replacing the wooden pedestrian footbridge over the Belelle River in Neda and inspecting the remaining section of the timber bridge and promenade, which is supported on wooden piles. The works are intended to restore the pedestrian connection between the seafront promenade and the town centre and to check the condition of the rest of the structure. The completion period is six weeks. The estimated budget is €199,959.07 including VAT (€165,255.43 excluding VAT, plus €34,703.64 VAT). The contract is not divided into lots. Price is the sole award criterion and carries 100 points; shortening the completion period will not be scored. Bids must be submitted electronically and signed, and bidders must be registered in the relevant official register of tenderers by the submission deadline. The contractor must demonstrate financial and technical capacity and, if selected, show that the specified personnel and equipment will be available. A final performance guarantee of 5% is required. During performance, the contractor must also comply with labour, occupational safety, equal-treatment and environmental rules and fulfil at least one specified social condition: employ a person from one of the named target groups for at least 50% of their working time, provide staff with at least eight hours of technical training, or establish measures to support employees’ work–life balance.
