Construction of a New Potable Water Tank

Summary

The tender concerns construction of a new 850 m³ potable-water regulating and storage tank in the municipality of Villanueva de la Concepción. The works are intended to increase drinking-water storage capacity and improve the water supply to residents. The completion period is six months, and the contract is not divided into lots. The estimated value is €426,300.15 excluding VAT; the budget including 21% VAT is €515,823.18. Bids must be submitted electronically within 20 calendar days starting on the day after publication of the contract notice. The evaluation awards up to 70 points for price, 15 points for shortening the completion period and 15 points for extending the warranty. The six-month completion period can be shortened by one month (5 points), one and a half months (10 points) or two months (15 points). The standard warranty is one year; an extension of six months earns 5 points, one and a half years earns 10 points, and two years earns 15 points. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the offered price excluding VAT. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and relevant construction experience and appoint a construction manager with at least three years’ experience.
