Renovation works for Block 14 in the Los Gladiolos neighbourhood

Summary

The contract covers the renovation of Block 14 in the Los Gladiolos neighbourhood of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, together with related urban improvement works under the neighbourhood’s regeneration programme. The works must follow the project and tender documents and be completed within a maximum of 10 months from authorisation to start. The contract is not divided into lots. The estimated value is EUR 971,375.69 and the maximum tender budget including tax is EUR 1,039,371.99, of which EUR 67,996.30 is Canary Islands indirect tax (IGIC). Offers will be assessed on price (up to 65 points), an extended warranty period (up to 10 points) and the technical report (25 points). The minimum warranty period is 12 months; a six-month extension earns 5 points and a 12-month extension earns 10 points. Offers must be submitted electronically and must not exceed the budget ceiling. Participation requires construction classification Group C, Subgroup 4, Category 3. The contractor’s site representative must have experience on similar works and be qualified as an architectural technician or building surveyor. The technical report must address understanding of the project, work organisation, team and equipment, similar works, communication with residents, scheduling and measures before and during construction. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the contract price excluding IGIC, and liability insurance with a minimum per-claim limit of 1.5 times the estimated contract value.
