Garden maintenance at the Arona and Granadilla courthouses

Summary

The contract covers preventive and corrective maintenance of the gardens, green areas, outdoor patios, planters and pots at the Arona and Granadilla courthouses in southern Tenerife. Work includes watering and irrigation-system upkeep, lawn mowing, hedge and tree pruning, weed control, reseeding and fertilising, plant replacement, pest control, cleaning and waste removal. Preventive plant-protection treatments and soil treatments must each be carried out at least four times a year; treatment frequency must increase if pests are detected. The contractor must provide a gardener for three full working days per week—two at Arona and one at Granadilla—as well as a coordinator and the necessary machinery, tools and materials. Participation is reserved for social initiative special employment centres and registered work-integration enterprises. Bids are scored on the annual fixed maintenance price, worth up to 80 points, and the promised on-site response time for urgent incidents, worth up to 20 points. The total budget ceiling is €49,999.43 including tax; the bid for fixed annual maintenance must not exceed €37,382.75 excluding tax, and the allowance for corrective work and materials is capped at €9,345.69 excluding tax.
