Improvement of the CR-2031 road from Manzanares to CM-420 (Phase 1, km 10+000–19+442)

Summary

The contract covers improvement works on the CR-2031 road from Manzanares to CM-420, first phase, between kilometre points 10+000 and 19+442. The aim is to improve driving comfort and road safety and extend the road’s service life. The works will widen the carriageway to 7 metres and the road platform to 8 metres, renew the verges and improve four hazardous bends. Earthworks will be carried out at those four sections, with a 25 cm crushed-stone base and a two-layer asphalt pavement. A 6 cm hot asphalt layer is planned along the full road section; drainage and culvert crossings will be improved, road markings and signs renewed, and safety barriers repaired or installed, including motorcycle protection. The works must be completed within 9 months. The estimated contract value is EUR 1,816,589.95 excluding VAT and EUR 2,198,073.84 including VAT. Alternative bids and division into lots are not permitted. Price is the only award criterion. Participation requires contractor classification A-2, Category 3, and G-4, Category 4, or, for bidders from another EU Member State, adequate economic, financial and technical capacity. Bidders must submit a responsible declaration and the European Single Procurement Document; bids must be submitted electronically in Spanish.
