Reagents for Immunoglobulin, Protein and Iron-Profile Testing

Summary

The tender concerns the supply of reagents and consumables for the Castilla y León Foundation for Hemotherapy and Blood Donation. The supplies are needed for 3,700 annual immunoglobulin and protein tests and 5,000 annual iron-profile tests on donor samples. The immunoglobulin and protein test covers IgG, IgM, IgA, total protein and albumin; the iron profile covers iron, transferrin and ferritin. The supplier must also provide the controls and calibrators, osmosis-treated water and other consumables required by the analyser. The equipment and infrastructure needed for testing will be made available free of charge for the contract period, and the contract provides for their maintenance. The bid must include connections to the laboratory management and transfusion-centre information systems, together with the necessary hardware and uninterruptible power supply. The system may enter routine use only after the analyses and transmission of results have been verified. Delivery is to the Foundation’s warehouse in Valladolid. The contract will normally run from 1 January to 31 December 2027 and may be extended once for 12 months. The estimated total budget is €58,400 excluding VAT (€70,664 including VAT). Maximum unit prices are €7 for an immunoglobulin and protein determination and €6.50 for an iron-profile determination, both excluding VAT. Bids are scored for technical quality (up to 60 points) and price (up to 40 points). Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and submit CE-marking and technical-compliance documentation.
