Low-voltage and telecommunications works at Tamadaba Youth Hostel

The procurement covers the supply and installation of low-voltage electrical systems and telecommunications and electronic security systems at the construction site of the Tamadaba Pine Forest Youth Hostel in Agaete, Gran Canaria. It is divided into two lots: Lot 1 covers low-voltage installations and Lot 2 covers telecommunications installations. Bidders may tender for either or both lots and may be awarded more than one. Lot 1 includes cable ducts, cabling and earthing, as well as distribution equipment, lighting, switches, sockets and electric-vehicle charging points. Lot 2 includes telecommunications, alarm, CCTV, television, voice and data networks and the equipment needed for them. The budgets excluding tax are €179,238.35 for Lot 1 and €68,342.16 for Lot 2, or €247,580.51 in total. Bids must price every item in each lot tendered for and must not exceed the lot budget or any stated unit-price ceiling. The works must be completed within 150 calendar days from contract signature. The contract runs for six months, and the works carry a minimum one-year warranty. Price is worth up to 95 points and a shorter completion period up to 5 points; reductions of up to 30 days count towards the score. Bids must be submitted electronically by 20 October 2026 at 23:59. Participation requires the relevant business authorisation or contractor classification; bidders without the relevant classification must demonstrate the required turnover and experience with similar works completed in the previous five years. The successful bidder must also provide a guarantee, liability insurance and occupational health and safety documents.
