Rental and installation of Christmas lighting and decorations in Los Alcázares

Summary

Los Alcázares is seeking rental of decorative Christmas lighting for the 2026–2027 festive season, including the supply of all lighting elements, installation, electrical connections, commissioning, maintenance and repairs, followed by dismantling and removal after the season. The planned displays comprise 49 arches measuring 5–7 m and 32 arches measuring 7–9 m, a 14 m conical Christmas tree display, two 7–8 m cones, two LED shooting stars, 30 single-sided and 4 double-sided vertical Christmas motifs, and pergola decorations with large and small LED spheres and illuminated arches. The installations will be placed on streets, squares and other public spaces and must use energy-efficient LED technology. The contract runs from 15 November 2026 to 15 January 2027. The lighting must operate from 28 November 2026 to 7 January 2027, from sunset to sunrise. The contractor must carry out daily inspections and provide round-the-clock standby and fault-response services, keeping at least 95% of the installation operational. It must reach a fault location within three hours, repair the fault within 12 hours or replace the item within one day. The contract is not divided into lots. The maximum tender price is €99,702.96 excluding VAT, or €120,640.58 including 21% VAT. Price is worth up to 80 points; a commitment to install 5, 10, 15 or 20 additional vertical Christmas motifs is worth up to 20 points. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and technical capacity and hold the authorisation required for low-voltage installation work. At least 30% of the contractor’s assigned staff must have permanent employment contracts.
