Improvement of the sports court and leisure areas in Veo

Summary

The tender covers improvements to sports and leisure areas in Veo and is divided into two separate lots. Lot 1 concerns refurbishment of the frontón, a ball-game court: painting and repairing the walls and playing surface, replacing damaged or rusted fencing, renewing and extending the lighting, and installing a weather-resistant metal canopy with retractable awnings and side curtains. Lot 2 covers removing existing equipment from the town park and installing compliant play equipment, benches, a rest area, a railing and rubber flooring, as well as painting and a decorative mural. At the park beside the swimming pool, the works also include bases and prefabricated toilets with water, electricity and sewer connections. Bids may cover one or both lots. The estimated total value is EUR 127,626.02 excluding VAT and EUR 154,427.48 including VAT. Lot 1 is budgeted at EUR 62,797.27 excluding VAT and EUR 75,984.70 including VAT; Lot 2 at EUR 64,828.75 and EUR 78,442.78 respectively. Each lot has a three-month execution period, six months in total. Bids must be submitted on paper in two sealed envelopes to the Alcudia de Veo Town Council; the documents specify a deadline of 20 calendar days from the day after publication of the contract notice. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and submit a responsible declaration, a works methodology statement and a work programme. The evaluation awards up to 25 points for the methodology and work organisation and up to 75 points for automatically scored criteria: shortening the execution period (7 points for each full week, up to five weeks and 35 points), extending the warranty (10 points for an additional 6 months; 20 points for at least 12 months), and experience on similar works (up to four works, each with a construction budget above EUR 40,000). During the works, waste must be properly sorted and removed, using an authorised waste manager where required. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee for each lot equal to 5% of its final price excluding VAT.
