Improvement of rural roads serving Marnotes, Nogueiroa and Prexigueiro in O Irixo

Summary

The contract covers improvement works on three rural access roads in the municipality of O Irixo: the roads serving Marnotes, Nogueiroa and Prexigueiro. The works include repairing damaged road surfaces and adding asphalt paving, improving rainwater drainage, and renewing vertical and road-surface markings. On the Marnotes road, drainage works are needed to address water accumulation and road-surface instability; the Nogueiroa junction needs a STOP sign, and the Marnotes junction needs improved traffic signage. The total budget is €70,499.05 including VAT (€58,263.68 excluding VAT). The work deadlines are 30 November 2026 and 15 May 2027, with a maximum contract duration of eight months. Bidders may offer up to 600 m² of additional asphalt paving (50 points), 200 metres of additional ditch cleaning and reshaping (15 points), 10 additional vertical traffic signs (10 points), and 25 m² of additional road markings (5 points). Any additional work offered becomes binding under the contract and must be completed at no extra charge. The bidder must demonstrate the required turnover and experience with previous works, or, if newly established, technical capacity through the specified alternatives; declare that no exclusion grounds apply; and commit sufficient staff and equipment. Bids must be submitted electronically. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee of 5%.
