Restoration and refurbishment of the Romangordo School Farm building façade

Summary

The contract covers restoration and refurbishment of the exterior façades of the Romangordo School Farm building and improvements to rainwater drainage. The works include erecting scaffolding; repairing and replacing damaged slate panels; removing graffiti; renewing the courtyard-facing rendered façades with water-repellent but vapour-permeable mortar; cleaning and repainting metal railings and other metalwork; repairing gutters and the roof edge; and installing a floor drain in the gallery. The works must be completed within two months. The estimated contract value is €85,049.82 excluding VAT, or €102,910.28 including VAT. Bids must be submitted electronically as a single submission. Price accounts for 70% of the evaluation, reduction of the completion period for 20%, and an extended warranty for 10%; the period may be shortened by no more than 10 days and the warranty extended by up to 12 months. Tenderers must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity, submit the required declarations, and observe the social, environmental and occupational-safety conditions during performance.
