Paving around the Cruceiro de A Ponte

Summary

The contract covers construction works around the Cruceiro de A Ponte in Forcadela, Tomiño municipality. The works include repairing areas of deteriorated paving and installing new local natural-stone cobbled paving, including edging along the three connecting paths. The project also improves sewer infrastructure and connects nearby homes to the sewer network on the PO-552. It includes new lighting, a stone bench, an aluminium historical information plaque, and cleaning and highlighting the existing Cruceiro. The separate Cruceiro restoration annex listed in the project is not part of this procurement. The works are to be completed within 4 months. The estimated contract value is €77,901.51 excluding VAT, and the total budget is €94,260.83 including VAT. The contract is not divided into lots. The award combines technical quality and formula-based criteria. The technical proposal is worth up to 25 points, and bidders must score at least 60% of those points to proceed. The formula-based criteria are worth up to 75 points: price (50), an additional warranty of up to 12 months (15), and additional quality-control funding of up to 3% of the construction budget (10). Bidders must be registered in the public-sector bidders register or its equivalent in Galicia and demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity. Bids must be submitted electronically, with the technical and financial parts kept separate. The technical work plan must not exceed 20 single-sided A4 pages. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee of 5% and the required liability and construction all-risks insurance. The contractor must also arrange the work programme and quality control and comply with applicable labour, environmental, equal-treatment and waste-management requirements.
