Supply of storage drives for information capture

Summary

The Spanish Tax Agency is procuring 307 data-storage drives in two lots for its financial and tax inspection, customs and excise departments. Lot 1 comprises 303 external drives: 113 USB 3.x 2 TB SSDs, 130 USB 3.x 1 TB SSDs, 30 2.5-inch USB 3.x 2 TB drives and 30 1 TB drives. Lot 2 comprises four internal drives: two 8 TB SATA HDDs and two 2 TB SATA SSDs. Supported file systems are NTFS, FAT32, HFS+, ext3 and ext4; external drives must not be partitioned or multimedia devices. Products must be new, original manufacturer products. Equivalent products are permitted if fully compatible and do not create additional cost for the contracting authority. The estimated value excluding VAT is EUR 86,573.26: up to EUR 83,686.76 for Lot 1 and EUR 2,886.50 for Lot 2. The total including 21% VAT is EUR 104,753.64. Price is the sole award criterion, and offered unit prices must not exceed the limits in the tender documents. Delivery to the AEAT’s central and regional offices is due within a maximum of two months from 15 October 2026, or from the day after contract signature if later. Spare and replacement drives must also be available: the documents specify a total of 311 drives for Lot 1 and 8 for Lot 2 when reserve and damage-replacement units are included. These units belong to the AEAT but remain in the supplier’s stock during the warranty period. The drives are covered by a three-year warranty including maintenance. The supplier must respond to a fault report within 8 hours and resolve the fault by replacing the drive within 12 hours; service hours are 8:00–15:00 on weekdays, excluding public holidays. Faulty storage media remain with the AEAT, and replacements must be supplied at no extra charge. Bids must be submitted electronically with a price offer and technical documentation demonstrating compliance with each technical requirement. Price alone determines the ranking. Bidders must meet the turnover, net-asset and past-experience requirements and declare that no contracting prohibition applies to them.
