Collection and return transport of artworks for the Fernanda Laguna exhibition

Summary

The contract covers packing artworks for the temporary Fernanda Laguna exhibition, collecting them from their locations, transporting them to the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, unpacking them and storing the packaging during the exhibition, then returning the artworks, unpacking them and placing them back in their original locations. The service also includes packing materials, customs formalities and permits, transport-route and courier arrangements, security services where needed, and all personnel and equipment required. The exhibition is scheduled to run from 2 March to 12 July 2027; the contract runs from 4 January 2027, or the later signing date, until 31 August 2027. The contract is not divided into lots and cannot be extended. The maximum budget is €350,000 including VAT, of which €289,256.20 is excluding VAT. Price is the sole award criterion and carries up to 100 points. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and experience with similar contracts. Artwork handling must be carried out by specialist staff; if air transport is used, accredited air-cargo agent requirements apply. The bid must be submitted electronically in Spanish using the required forms. Artwork packing and unpacking, and loading and unloading at the museum, may not be subcontracted. During contract performance, wood materials must be certified by FSC, PEFC or an equivalent scheme, and assigned staff must receive personal-data protection training.
