Accident insurance for National Statistics Institute staff and postgraduate statistics scholarship recipients

Summary

The procurement is for a group personal accident insurance policy for civil-servant and contractual employees of Spain’s National Statistics Institute (INE), as well as recipients of postgraduate statistics scholarships. Cover must apply throughout Spain and protect against temporary or permanent incapacity or death resulting from a sudden, external, involuntary accident while carrying out work duties. Minimum insured amounts are €75,000 for accidental death, €150,000 for severe total disability, €75,000 for permanent total disability and €50,000 for permanent partial incapacity. The contract runs for 24 months from 17 February 2027, or from the day after signature if signed later, with one possible 12-month extension. The maximum budget is €57,720, exempt from VAT, and the estimated contract value is €90,909; the annual premium must not exceed €7.80 per person. Offers are scored out of 100 points: 30 for the premium price and 70 for increases to insured amounts. Tenderers must demonstrate the required turnover and comparable-service experience and hold current authorisation to conduct insurance business.
