Summary

The contract covers the collection, transport, storage, safekeeping and destruction of vessels associated with irregular migration in Almería province, including its territorial waters and, where needed, vessels brought ashore from Alborán Island. The estimated volume is 280 vessels per year. Services are provided on demand: the contractor must arrive within 180 minutes of a call-out, keep the vessels secure and generally destroy them within three months of the collection certificate date. Engines must be decontaminated and destroyed, and vessels disposed of in accordance with environmental requirements; destruction normally takes place monthly. The contractor must issue collection and destruction certificates, submit a monthly service report, keep two telephone numbers available around the clock and appoint a service coordinator. The contract runs for one year, expected from 3 December 2026 to 2 December 2027, with no extension option. The unit price must not exceed €453.90 per vessel excluding VAT; the estimated total budget is €139,801.20 including VAT. Price is the sole award criterion. Bidders must meet the turnover and similar-service experience thresholds and hold the permits and registered facilities required for hazardous-waste handling.
