Supply of balloons and biodegradable string and rental of helium cylinders for the 2027 Storytelling Marathon

Summary

The tender covers the supply of balloons and biodegradable string, and the rental of helium cylinders, for the 2027 Benalmádena Storytelling Marathon. The contractor must provide 10 packs of blue and 10 packs of white medium-sized 28 cm balloons (100 balloons per pack), 3 reels of approximately 900 metres of organic cotton string, and 3 helium cylinders with nozzles; each cylinder must contain enough gas to inflate 680 balloons. The materials must be delivered to the Casa de la Cultura in Arroyo de la Miel no later than 3 days before the event, provisionally scheduled for 29 May 2027. The cylinders and nozzles must be collected within 5 calendar days after the event. Defective materials must be replaced at least one day before the event. The budget is €3,200 excluding VAT, or €3,872 including VAT; bids above the pre-VAT budget will be rejected, and price is the sole award criterion. The contract runs until the end of 2027 and may be extended for one year, through the end of 2028. Bidders must submit their offers electronically, be registered in the required register or prove that they applied on time, and disclose any planned subcontracting. The contractor must itself handle the critical tasks of delivering, collecting, exchanging and replacing the materials.
