Completion of outstanding works for the adult education school and community centre in Isla Cristina

Summary

The contract covers completion of the outstanding works at the partly built adult education school and community association centre on the corner of Fundadores and Lepanto streets in Isla Cristina. The contractor must carry out the pending work specified in the project and its outstanding-works annex, together with the ancillary work, statutory approvals and tests needed to hand over a complete, functioning facility; work already completed or paid for must not be billed again. The estimated value is EUR 853,104.70 excluding VAT, or EUR 1,032,256.69 including VAT, and the contract period is 11 months. The contract is not divided into lots and is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Bidders must demonstrate the required construction classification or equivalent financial and technical capacity and provide a suitably qualified site manager. Bids are assessed on the technical dossier, price, extended warranty, personnel and specified improvements. The contractor must also comply with environmental and climate conditions, including preparing at least 70% by weight of non-hazardous construction and demolition waste for reuse, recycling or other material recovery.
