Renewal of drinking-water and stormwater pipes and street surfaces in Maria de la Salut

Summary

The contract covers the renewal of the drinking-water and stormwater networks and associated street works in Maria de la Salut. The work includes constructing or replacing pipes, reinstating and resurfacing road surfaces, and repairing pavements. Its aims are to reduce water losses, provide stormwater drainage, remove accessibility barriers and improve the appearance of the area. The works cover phase 1 on Costa i Llobera and Comte d’Empúries streets and phase 2 on Comte d’Empúries Street. The works must be completed within 12 weeks from signature of the setting-out inspection record. The contract is not divided into lots, and bids must cover the complete scope. The total works budget, including waste management, is €387,204.34 including VAT. The waste-management charge is €9,764.84 excluding VAT and is not subject to a discount. Bids are assessed on price (up to 50 points), additional asphalt surfacing (up to 45 points), and installation of 15 LED light bollards (5 points). Additional asphalt surfacing earns 0.02 points per square metre. The bollards must have a minimum power of 5 W and protection rating of at least IP68; the installation must include the necessary excavation, foundations, ducts, wiring and earthing. The lights must connect to the existing streetlights along a 133-metre section in front of the pharmacy. Bidders must meet the turnover, similar-works experience, register-entry and civil-liability insurance requirements of at least €320,891.30. Bids must be submitted electronically.
