Supply of fresh and pasteurised eggs to Paradores hotels

Summary

The procurement covers the supply of fresh shell eggs and pasteurised egg products to Paradores de Turismo de España hotels and restaurants. Products include pasteurised liquid whole egg, egg white and yolk, as well as eggs from free-range or barn-reared hens. The contract is divided into seven independently awarded lots covering mainland Spain, Ceuta and Ibiza; Cruz de Tejeda; Las Cañadas del Teide; La Palma; La Gomera; and El Hierro. Bidders may choose which lots to bid for, but must offer every product in each selected lot. Bidders must submit unit prices that do not exceed the maximum prices set for the products in each lot. Price is worth 40 points and technical quality 60 points. Technical scoring is based on blind product tasting and assessment of appearance, product properties and taste. A minimum score of 50 out of 100 in the qualitative technical assessment is required to proceed to the next evaluation stage. Paradores may request samples of all products in the selected lots; these must be delivered approximately 72 hours after the request. The initial contract term is one year, with a possible 12-month extension. The estimated annual value is €948,820 excluding VAT; the estimated total value, including the possible extension and other planned changes, is €2,021,550 excluding VAT. Orders will be placed as needed, up to one order per hotel per week, with a minimum order value of €70 excluding VAT. Orders must be delivered in full. Delivery is due within 4 working days in mainland Spain and within 6 working days in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Ibiza. Bids must be submitted electronically, and documents must be in Spanish. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and previous supply experience and provide food-health registration or authorisation, evidence of a HACCP system, product technical sheets, an allergen and GMO declaration, and, for packaged food, evidence that packaging is suitable for food contact.
