Civil and property liability insurance policy for Basuras Sierra de Cádiz

Summary

The contract is for a civil and property liability insurance policy for Basuras Sierra de Cádiz S.A.U. The policy must cover bodily injury, property damage and resulting financial loss unintentionally caused to third parties in connection with the company’s activities. Insured activities include municipal and separately collected non-hazardous waste collection and transport, street cleaning, park and garden maintenance, temporary waste storage at recycling centres, operation of composting plants and the company’s vehicle repair workshop. Legal defence costs and court bonds are also included for covered claims. Cover applies to events in Spain giving rise to claims before the Spanish courts. The initial insurance period runs from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027. Financial and technical capacity requirements are waived under the abbreviated procedure, but evidence of insurance registration and either a ROLECE registration certificate or proof of an application for registration are required. The bid must be submitted in a single envelope with the offer form, responsible declaration, sample policy and required company, signatory-authority, tax and social-security documents. Before contract award, the insurer must designate a service contact and provide a claims channel, telephone number and email address. Price is one of the award criteria and is worth up to 50 points. The evaluation also rewards reductions to the general deductible (from a maximum of €600), increased per-victim limits, higher indemnity limits, retroactive cover and optional extensions. The policy must provide at least €1,201,000 per claim and the same amount as the annual aggregate limit; the per-victim sublimit is €300,000 and the general deductible may not exceed €600. No deductible applies to employers’ and cross liability cover.
