Renewal of the Drinking Water Network in Cubelles

Summary

The contract covers renewal of the drinking water network in Cubelles on Pompeu Fabra Avenue, Nostra Senyora d’Araceli Street, Poeta Cabanyes Street, s’Agaró Street and dels Horts Street, as well as the Mas Trader road. The works include removing existing paving, excavating trenches, transporting soil and construction waste, installing drinking water pipes and reinstating the road surfaces. The contract is not divided into lots because the works need to be planned and coordinated as a whole to reduce disruption to traffic and residents. The budget is EUR 605,555.52 including VAT, and the works must be completed within 6 months; 50% must be completed by 23 December 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically within 15 calendar days and include a works schedule, a description of the necessary equipment and a mobility study. Price is assessed for up to 50 points. Bidders must hold the required contractor classification and have completed at least two similar projects during the previous three years. During contract performance, at least 10% of personnel assigned to the works, including subcontractors’ personnel, must be at risk of social exclusion; compliance must be evidenced at the start of the works.
