Equipment inventory and maintenance service

Summary

The contract is for an inventory service covering equipment purchased or loaned to the San Carlos Clinical Hospital Biomedical Research Foundation, together with equipment maintenance. The work includes physical inventory and database updates, as well as preventive maintenance, functional checks and computerised management of these activities. The initial term is one year, with up to four one-year extensions, for a maximum total term of five years. The estimated annual value is EUR 29,587 excluding VAT; the notice states a VAT rate of 21%. Bids must describe the maintenance plan, service management, inventory methodology and tools, and include a demonstration of the maintenance software. A minimum of 18 out of 30 points on the technical qualitative criteria is required to advance from the first evaluation phase. Offers are also assessed on price, reduced response time for inventory requests and training for the foundation’s staff on equipment use and care. Bidders must meet the financial and technical capacity, licensing, staffing and equipment requirements; the successful bidder must provide a 5% definitive guarantee and the required liability insurance.
