Construction of the Creixell municipal brigade building

Summary

The contract covers construction of a semi-underground industrial building for the municipal brigade of Creixell. The works begin with demolition of existing boundary walls and excavation, followed by construction of an open-plan ground floor and two mezzanines, reinforced-concrete retaining walls and a steel-profile load-bearing structure. The building will have 1,301.29 m² of total floor area and 1,235.28 m² of usable space. The contract also includes the foundations, façade, roof, building services and other works in the approved project. The facility will support the brigade’s work and provide organised storage and shelter for municipal vehicles, tools, materials and equipment. The procurement is a single, indivisible contract with no lots. The works are expected to take up to 12 months. The estimated value is €596,384.45 excluding VAT (€721,625.18 including 21% VAT). Bids must be submitted electronically within 20 calendar days of publication of the contract notice. Evaluation awards up to 30 points for price and up to 70 points for quality-related bid commitments: shortening the works period by up to 6 weeks (up to 25 points); photographs and a Gantt schedule justifying earlier use of the brigade’s premises (up to 20 points); an extended warranty (up to 10 points); additional quality control (up to 5 points); follow-up visits during the warranty period (up to 5 points); and environmental and waste-management measures (up to 5 points). Bidders need the required works classification and must provide at least a site manager and a site foreman. The bid must include the required electronically signed declarations, the European Single Procurement Document and the price proposal. Alternative bids are not permitted.
