Processing and inventorying of development cooperation records and archival holdings

Summary

The contract is for processing and inventorying the paper archives on development cooperation accumulated between 1999 and 2018. The work covers approximately 4,400 archival boxes or other document storage units at the archive facility in Riba-roja de Túria. The contractor must remove the documents from storage, arrange them by archival series, remove unnecessary material and items that could damage the records, describe the records to be retained using tables supplied by the archive, re-box and label them, and return them to the appropriate storage area. Unneeded material containing personal data or administrative information must be destroyed confidentially, and that destruction must be documented. The work will be supervised by the archive’s responsible officer and must be completed within 10 months. The team must consist of two people, each with at least one year of archival management experience: an archive technician and an archive assistant. The bidder must provide the equipment needed for the work and hold civil liability insurance. The estimated contract value is EUR 57,543.05 excluding VAT, or EUR 69,627.09 including VAT.
