Maintenance of Instituto Cervantes lifts and automatic doors
Summary
The contract covers maintenance of Instituto Cervantes lifts, other lifting equipment and automatic glass doors at Calle Alcalá 49 in Madrid and Calle Libreros 23 in Alcalá de Henares. It includes 12 lifting devices and two automatic glass doors. The service includes preventive and corrective maintenance, routine inspections, fault repairs, safety-system checks, and the cost of parts and spares normally replaced due to faults. Alterations required by regulatory changes and equipment modernisation are outside routine maintenance. Instituto Cervantes will arrange and pay for statutory periodic inspections and the inspection body’s fees; the contractor must attend the inspections and provide the necessary technical assistance. The contract runs for 36 months and may be extended by up to two years, one year at a time. Price carries up to 90 award points and optional improvements up to 10 points. To submit a valid bid, qualified personnel must visit both sites and the visit certificate must be included with the bid. Bidders must hold the required lift-maintenance authorisation and registration, civil liability insurance with cover of at least €4,000,000 per claim, and provide a suitably qualified team. No separate economic, financial or technical/professional solvency requirement applies.
