Supply of desktop computers, tablets and Windows software to Segovia City Council

Summary

Segovia City Council is procuring desktop computers, tablets and software for its virtualised environment in three lots. Lot 1 comprises 60 desktop computers with Intel Core i5 processors and 15 Core i7 computers; Lot 2 comprises 26 tablets supplied with Bluetooth keyboards and protective cases. Lot 3 comprises one Windows Server 2025 Standard licence for the virtualisation environment and 67 perpetual Office Home & Business 2024 licences. The computers and tablets must meet the detailed technical minimums in the tender documents, be new, and be assembled and tested by the manufacturer at its factory. A three-year manufacturer’s warranty is required; during the warranty period, the supplier must provide fault support, repair or replacement. Delivery is to the City Council’s IT service and must be completed within one month of contract signature; the delivery deadline is 10 days from signature. Bids must be submitted electronically in a single file. Bidders may bid separately for any lot, with no limit on the number of lots. Award criteria differ by lot. For Lot 1, price scores up to 70 points; additional points are available for increasing RAM in all i5 computers by 8 GB (20 points) and in all i7 computers by 16 GB (10 points). For Lot 2, price scores up to 70 points; 15 points each are available for increasing all tablets’ RAM to 16 GB and storage to 256 GB. For Lot 3, price is the only award criterion, worth up to 100 points. The estimated contract value is EUR 83,356.89 excluding VAT, and the total budget is EUR 100,861.84 including 21% VAT. Bidders must meet the selection requirements: be registered in the required register or prove that a registration application was submitted on time, demonstrate the required turnover and comparable supply experience, and confirm compliance with the technical and certification requirements. The successful bidder for each lot must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of that lot’s contract price excluding VAT.
