European medium-temperature heat for industrial processes: needs, barriers and opportunities for direct-use renewable heating technologies

This research consultancy concerns mapping medium-temperature industrial heat demand across Europe, by Member State, including temperature requirements, industry types and currently used heating technologies. The work must assess available and emerging technologies for direct use of renewable heat, relevant thermal energy storage, deployment barriers, best practices and demonstrators, as well as possible secondary uses of waste heat.
