Transport of Components to Olkiluoto

Summary

The contract covers transport of large nuclear-component equipment and associated lifting tools for the OL1 and OL2 nuclear units from ENSA’s site in Maliaño, Spain, to the port of Olkiluoto, Finland, and the return of lifting tools. The cargo includes the OL2 and OL1 core shroud heads with steam separators and thermal sleeves, pipe assemblies, and boxes containing insert pipes, thermal sleeves and bolting. One return transport in 2028 is optional; some consignments may be transported by road. The estimated value is EUR 275,000 excluding VAT, and the maximum budget is EUR 332,750 including VAT. Bids are evaluated on price: the lowest-priced bid receives 100 points, with other bids scored proportionally. Bids must be submitted electronically by 13:00 on 9 October 2026. Bidders must provide evidence of comparable work, services or supplies from the last three years, ISO 9001:2015 certification or an equivalent, and evidence meeting the required insurance and turnover thresholds. The successful bidder must prepare a transport plan for approval by ENSA and its client; award is conditional on the client accepting the plan. To obtain the technical documents, bidders must send ENSA a signed confidentiality agreement. The bid must state a unit price for each transport position, including the optional position, and all costs associated with performing the contract.
