Wastewater pumping station and rising main at Casa-Museo del Campesino

Summary

The tender covers construction of a new wastewater pumping station (EBAR) and rising main at Casa-Museo del Campesino in Lanzarote, connecting the centre’s wastewater to the municipal sewer network in San Bartolomé and removing the existing treatment plant and discharge to a soakaway. The works include installing the pumping station in the existing tank with two pumps in a 1+1 configuration, a grease mixer, control and odour-treatment equipment, excavating a trench, and laying a DN90 PN16 PE-100 rising main and a DN315 sewer pipe. The contractor must also refurbish the future pumping-station area, dismantle the old treatment plant, connect the new pipes to existing lines, carry out a pressure test and reinstate the asphalt surface. The route crosses the LZ-30 road; works in the landscaped area must be underground and avoid damaging the garden. The contractor must comply with the applicable permit, safety, waste-management and works-signage conditions. Work must take place from September to December, outside the local bird nesting season. The contract is not divided into lots. The planned completion period is 8 weeks from signature of the setting-out verification record, with no extension. The tender budget is EUR 173,368.32 excluding IGIC (EUR 185,504.10 including 7% IGIC); the maximum planned contract modification is 20%, or EUR 34,673.66. Bids must be submitted electronically in a single package with the required declarations, the European Single Procurement Document and the price offer. Price carries up to 60 points; additional points are available for shortening the schedule by up to 21 days, the works manager’s experience on similar projects, up to three extra years of warranty, and assigning a zero-emission or ECO-labelled vehicle to the works.
