Certification, verification and validation services for biological safety cabinets, laminar-flow cabinets and fume cupboards in Majadahonda

Summary

The tender concerns the certification, verification and validation of biological safety cabinets, laminar-flow cabinets, fume cupboards and chemical or flammable-substance storage cabinets located in the laboratories of the Instituto de Salud Carlos III at the Majadahonda campus, from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027. The scope covers at least 175 biological safety cabinets, 75 laminar-flow cabinets, 59 fume cupboards and 10 storage cabinets, and includes 50 additional partial or complete annual tests. The work includes filter leak testing, airflow and velocity measurements, smoke tests, alarm checks, noise and lighting measurements, and assessment of the equipment’s technical condition. The provider must deliver detailed signed reports, calibration certificates and, where required, photographs or video evidence, and must send weekly consolidated work data. The estimated contract value is EUR 48,000 excluding VAT, or EUR 58,080 including VAT. The services will be performed at the Instituto de Salud Carlos III campus in Majadahonda and payment will be made after submission of the reports. Price is the only award criterion.
