Preventive and corrective maintenance of the En Figuera facade clock at Palma City Hall

Summary

The tender covers four years of preventive and corrective maintenance of the “En Figuera” clock on the facade of Palma City Hall, with a possible 12-month extension. Preventive maintenance includes at least weekly visits, lubrication, cleaning, time adjustment, minor repairs, maintenance of the striking mechanisms and bells, and special New Year preparations, including attendance from 22:00 on 31 December until the chimes are completed. One major disassembly and overhaul of the clock mechanism is required during the contract, planned for 2029. Corrective work covers repairs, restoration, supply, manufacture and installation of replacement parts when necessary. Each corrective intervention requires a prior quotation and the City’s express approval. The base budget is EUR 20,872.50 including VAT; the maximum corrective maintenance rate is EUR 60.50 per hour including VAT.
