Tender detail
Restoration of the Almohad Wall section in Alzira
Summary
The tender concerns restoration works on a 76-metre section of the Almohad Wall in Alzira, between Towers 1 and 3 in the Arabia Saudí Park. The protected monument is a cultural heritage asset, so the works must preserve the historic construction, respect the heritage authorisation and include archaeological monitoring. The scope includes consolidation and recovery of the historic masonry, drainage, conservation of the original lime-concrete rammed construction technique, removal of inappropriate elements and compatible, distinguishable reintegration works. The estimated contract value is EUR 330,578.51 excluding VAT and the budget including VAT is EUR 400,000. The planned execution period is 10 months. The contract uses a simplified open procedure and offers must be submitted electronically by the deadline stated in the notice, which is 5 October 2026. The award is based on 100 automatic points: up to 33 points for price, 2 for shortening the schedule and 65 for relevant company and staff experience in protected cultural heritage works. No provisional tender guarantee is required; the successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of the final price excluding VAT.
