Construction of protective fencing under the simplified projects for stations of the Central Circulation Subdirectorate 1 and 2
Summary
The tender concerns construction of protective fencing at railway stations covered by the Central Circulation Subdirectorate’s simplified projects 1 and 2. The works cover stations and railway sections in the Madrid, Toledo and Cuenca areas, with approximately 5,806 metres of new fencing in total, including simple-twist and Type P fencing. The contract is not divided into lots and must be completed within eight months. The estimated contract value is EUR 325,982.30 excluding VAT, or EUR 394,438.58 including 21% VAT. The open procedure uses the best price-quality ratio: 49 points are allocated to qualitative criteria and 51 to formula-based criteria, including 49 points for price and 2 points for a commitment to use the contracting authority’s common data environment. The bid must include a price proposal and detailed construction, quality, safety, environmental and risk-management information. The successful bidder must demonstrate the required turnover, comparable railway construction experience, qualified staff and material resources, including a suitable van and an authorised railway safety pilot.
