Supply of reagents for performing serology tests

Summary

The tender covers a single integrated supply of serology reagents, calibrators, controls and at least two automated analysers for the Aragon Public Blood and Tissue Bank. The contract runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029, with a possible 24-month extension for 2030–2031. The estimated value is EUR 1,701,750 excluding VAT, while the three-year tender budget is EUR 1,021,050 excluding VAT and EUR 1,235,470.50 including VAT. The supplier must provide reagents for mandatory screening of HBsAg, hepatitis C antibodies, HIV-1 and HIV-2, syphilis and anti-HTLV I-II, as well as tests for anti-HBc, Chagas disease, CMV IgG, CMV IgM and ferritin. The offer must meet the specified sensitivity, validation, CE-marking, automation, maintenance, training, quality-control and technical-support requirements. Delivery is to the Blood and Tissue Bank warehouse in Zaragoza; reagents must generally be supplied within 15 days of the laboratory’s request, and defective material must be replaced within 15 days. Award criteria total 100 points: price 40 points, processing speed of at least 450 tests per hour per installed module 20 points, incident resolution within less than 24 hours without additional cost 5 points, a qualifying recombinant anti-HTLV I-II reagent with 100% sensitivity 5 points, and specificity of at least 99.75% for all mandatory infectious-screening reagents 5 points. Four technical quality criteria assessed in advance account for a further 25 points.
