Tender detail
Gas installation works in the laboratories of the Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology of Seville
Summary
The procurement covers works to install a new gas system in the laboratories of the Institute of Natural Resources and Agrobiology of Seville (IRNAS). The existing system dates from the building’s construction in 1986 and no longer meets the required safety level; the range of gases used has also increased substantially. The contractor must install the new system in accordance with the project and tender documents and arrange the required inspection and legalisation of the installations. The works will take place at the IRNAS building, Avenida de la Reina Mercedes 10, Seville, and must be completed within three months from the day after the site-setting-out inspection record is signed. The tender budget is EUR 219,584.10 excluding VAT and EUR 265,696.76 including VAT; the contract is not divided into lots. The bid must be submitted electronically as a single submission. Price is worth up to 80 points, the quality-control offer up to 8 points, and an extended warranty up to 12 points. The minimum quality-control allocation is 1% of the tender budget, and bidders may offer up to 3%. The warranty is at least one year, with an extension of up to three additional years. No provisional security is required; the successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of its final offered price excluding VAT. Subcontracting is permitted up to 60% of the contract value. Participation requires meeting the turnover and previous-experience thresholds or demonstrating the appropriate works-contractor classification, as well as submitting the required declarations and evidence. A site visit is not mandatory, and no visit certificate needs to be included with the bid.
