Collection and transport of municipal solid waste

Summary

The tender covers the collection and transport of municipal solid waste, including residual and organic waste, from the municipalities of the Mancomunidad de Pueblos de la Vecindad de Burgos. The service also includes container cleaning and daily cleaning, disinfection and pest control of the vehicles and equipment used. The contract is for four years, with annual extensions possible up to a maximum total duration of six years. The tender has one lot, variants are not allowed, submission is electronic and price is the only award criterion. The contract must start on 6 February 2027. The tender budget is EUR 572,186.30 including VAT for four years, and the estimated value is EUR 780,254.04 excluding VAT including possible extensions. The contractor must provide the required collection vehicles, a container-washing vehicle, a high-pressure cleaning machine, replacement equipment and suitable premises. Collection must follow the specified routes and frequencies, with three weekly collections in Villalbilla de Burgos and Buniel throughout the year and, for the other municipalities, two weekly collections outside the summer period and three weekly collections from 15 June to 15 September. The contractor must maintain 178 containers, provide sufficient staff, assume the employment rights and obligations relating to the staff assigned to the existing service, and comply with reporting, safety, environmental and labour-law obligations.
