Maintenance of fire-protection systems in Hellín municipal buildings and vehicles

Summary

The Municipality of Hellín is establishing a four-year dynamic purchasing system for preventive and corrective maintenance of fire-protection systems in its buildings, facilities and vehicles. The system has an estimated total value of EUR 79,076.41 excluding VAT and is not divided into lots. The services include periodic inspections and testing, identification and reporting of faults, keeping inventories and signage up to date, and documenting maintenance work. Certain minor corrective work, such as recharging extinguishers and replacing necessary signage, is included in the contract price; work requiring spare parts, construction work or alterations to an installation must be quoted in advance and approved. A company must first join the system and meet the turnover, relevant-experience and fire-protection maintenance certification requirements. Admitted companies are invited to bid for individual contracts; price is normally the sole award criterion. Each bid must include a maintenance plan. The contractor must keep records and provide reports, respond to routine notices within 72 hours, and provide a 24-hour contact service for emergencies with a response within 24 hours.
