Tender detail
Flow cytometer with fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS)
Summary
The procurement covers the purchase and delivery of one flow cytometer with fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) for the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy at Technische Universität Braunschweig. The supply must include a laminar-flow safety cabinet, computer and control software, as well as the necessary water bath. The benchtop-sized instrument must fit inside the safety cabinet and have four lasers with wavelengths of 405, 488, 561 and 638 nm and at least 10 fluorescence detectors: at least 3, 2, 3 and 2 for the respective lasers. Required capabilities include four-way sorting into 5 ml and 15 ml tubes, sorting into 96- and 384-well plates, index sorting, temperature control for sample input and collection, and a 100 µm nozzle. The instrument must operate without disposable sorting components, sample carryover must not exceed 0.1%, and the lasers must have spatially separated optical paths. The software must be royalty-free and allow access to raw data and subsequent analysis. The supplier must deliver, install and commission the equipment and provide two days of theoretical and practical training. Local German-language customer support is preferred. Bids must be submitted electronically through the procurement platform by 10:00 on 3 November 2026. The bid must include the completed price form and technical descriptions or data sheets demonstrating that the proposed instrument meets the requirements. Evaluation assigns 30% to price and 70% to technical merit; bids from workshops for people with disabilities receive the stated 15% bonus under the specified conditions. The bid must include the suitability self-declaration and the required exclusion and Russia-related declarations.
