U5 extension to Frankfurter Berg – civil engineering structures for the relocation of drainage infrastructure

Summary

The procurement covers engineering design services for relocating and redesigning public stormwater, wastewater and combined sewer infrastructure affected by the U5 light-rail extension between Preungesheim and Frankfurter Berg in Frankfurt am Main. The route is approximately 1.5 km long, and the existing sewer pipes range from DN 300 to DN 700. The services include design phases 1–3 in Stage 1 and, as an option, phases 5–8 in Stage 2, together with special and additional services; rainwater management and protection against heavy rainfall are also to be addressed.
