Energy refurbishment of Building AB – building design

Summary

Hochschule Osnabrück is commissioning building-design services for the comprehensive structural, functional and energy refurbishment of Building AB at Albrechtstraße 30 in Osnabrück. The work covers the approximately 5,287 m² existing building, including roof renewal and energy improvements, refurbishment of the south façade, and modernisation of the auditorium’s ventilation, heating, cooling, electrical systems and lighting, as well as the foyer heating and sanitary areas. Planning services cover HOAI service phases 1–9, commissioned in four stages, with construction intended to proceed while the university remains in operation; the overall project budget is approximately €8.2 million, including approximately €0.5 million for media technology.
