Bat fauna surveys for the B 281 Rockendorf–Krölpa route

Summary

Thuringia’s State Office for Construction and Transport is procuring bat fauna surveys for the planned approximately 6 km B 281n road between Rockendorf and Pößneck. The work includes stationary and mobile detector surveys, automatic acoustic monitoring using detector boxes and, where needed, netting and checks of potential roost structures. The surveys will document bat species, activity areas, flight routes and potential roost sites to inform landscape conservation and species protection planning.
